The Greater Manchester Fringe are delighted
to share with you The Hive.
A new Arts Council Supported curated branch of the fringe.
We will be seeking out three new
1 Spoken Word artist who wants to develop an hour long show
1 Comedian who hasn’t yet performed / written an entire 1 hour Fringe show
1 Writer who has a brilliant idea for a Duologue.
From January 2019 we will be developing and mentoring their work alongside some very special industry professionals, and then sharing the work in a week long performance run across various venues as part of our 2019 Greater Manchester Fringe programme.15th – 21st July 2019.
Each artist will work with their industry specific mentor to develop the quality of the work.
We will offer regular consultations, editing help, feedback and production meetings with GMF and Write for the Stage to ascertain progress, offering support where required, and keeping each project on track.
We will also support the artists by covering
fringe entry costs, rehearsal space, venue hires, PR, and pay for the
